Dive is a fast paced platformer that gets harder over time though you slowly get more powerful but you will still need skill and the speed. The faster the better. Dive is a easy game to learn but a very hard game to master. In this guide you will learn about: The core goal, the shop, the enemies, the curses, classes, alters, AND upgrades

How to play and what to do

Dive is a game where you run collecting coins surviving certain "hazards." Your goal each round is to get to the shop and enter it after doing so you'll enter the shop. But hazards arent them only thing you may find along the way to the shop you might find "alters" and come a across boostpads that boost you in the air and make you regen stamina faster. You will also see lots and I mean lots of coins. Coins gain more value in midgame and almost loses it in end game. Though then their is what I call "Your default abilities" because no matter what class you have you will still have them. These abilities are "dash" and "super jump" I'll tell you how they work since you will (Most likely) use these no matter what class you have, a class highly depends on these abilities, arbiter. dash: Propel yourself forward and lose all vertical momentum (even if falling if used you stop falling for a sec) Tip Use this ability to cut corners. Super Jump: You jump really high... wastes 30 stamina, can be used in midair! Tip use when you are falling of the platform just make sure there is nothing above you

The Shop and Upgrades

The shop may sound like a good thing though it is also a foe. In the shop you can buy upgrades, are forced to get curses and every odd numbered round you get an enemy. Though there's many good upgrades. Promotion(you get .25X money per coin, can be bought twice). Bloxiade stand (best for arbiter, it makes you regain stamina and gives a small boost when collected, can only be bought once). Portable bloxaide (+10 to your base speed, can be bought twice. VERY HELPFUL) Those are just some of the "early game" upgrades that will help your run.

CURSES

curses exist to make the game harder over time they can fog your screen, buff enemies, hide stats, and etc. But their are high risk high rewards that will do something like bring you back to the start for lap 2 but you get 2X money.

ENEMIES

This is just about the enemies. Blizzard: shoots projectiles at the player if contacted the player will lose 5 health but will be propelled in the air. Ron: Ron will follow the player around randomly stopping infront of them, the player must dodge Ron as if they contact him he will get angry and chase the player until they calm down. RON IS FAST he can go over 70 speed from what I've seen. Mine: Will chase the player until close where they will dash at the player (Just dodge). Pie.EXE: Collect the clocks on the floor before his oven gets 100% or he will throw a pie at your face blinding some vision and giving the pied effect that makes you take more damage. Angel: Jump to dodge their lightning bolt. DRAKOWORM: Will tunnel out of the ground trying to hit the player. Imitation: Will follow the player then stopping to try pushing them. Spikes: If you make it to the shop all enemies will vanish you can go back the map for more coins but spikes will appear and like mine will dart at you. Tick: When time runs out YOU RUN. Like ron, tick will chase although unlike ron he won't stop... If you get to the shop he'll despawn. LORE DROP: see how I've been comparing Ron to Tick, well they are supposedly close. SATURN: I don't believe he exist but supposedly he follows you then orbits around you and pulls you towards him if you look at him.(I have NEVER seen this enemy)

CLASS: Diver

look I'm NOT gonna talk about every class in the game but I WILL talk about diver only because he is the starter class... Diver has +10 base speed than every class he is faster (Normally) than every other class. Your ability dive will make you propel forward in whatever way you are looking. This last for only one second. Using 25 stamina. You are invincible whilst doing it but that is not its special trait. if you use this ability and crash into a enemy you parry them and fling into the sky. Now this doesnt work for every enemy (almost every one shot enemy doesnt care and you will just go through them (or die). If you press it again whilst doing it your fov will go down for a few milliseconds but during this if you crash into a enemy you will go MUCH FARTHER.

Others

On round five bombs will spawn (just avoid them.) Alters will spawn, a money one that if activated will give you coins but will add enemies. And a gambling one that can be good or bad more time, less time, tick spawns, no bombs, money reward, and bigger obstacles are just some examples. Do you want to know more?
